Children's Spring / Summer Consignment Sale Ministry

 
 
 
Our Consignment Sale system is now ready for you to enter your Spring / Summer items!
 The last day to enter your items will be Thursday, 3/22/12 at 11:59pm

PLEASE NOTE: 
WE WILL NOW HAVE ONE CONSIGNOR PREVIEW NIGHT AND THREE PUBLIC SHOPPING DAYS. Additional public sale days give your items more of an opportunity to be sold.
 
Please read all instructions before entering your items.
 
DROP OFF (ONE DAY ONLY):     
·         The ONLY drop off date is Friday, 3/23/2012 from 6:30pm - 9pm.
·         There is no need to get here early, because all consignors dropping off their items will shop early
          on the only preview night, 3/27/12
·         No other dates are schedule for drop off, so please MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
 
CONSIGNOR PICK UP (ONE DAY ONLY):
·     The ONLY pick up date is Sunday, 4/15/12 from 1-3pm. 
·     If you can't be here, please send someone in your place. Any items left after this time will be donated. 
·     If you are authorizing someone to pick up your items and check, please send an email to
     consignment@oakland-baptist.com with your name and who will be picking up your check. 
     We will not release checks if we do not have authorization from you.
 
CONSIGNOR PREVIEW NIGHT: 3/27/12 FROM 6:30pm -9pm
·     All consignors are invited to shop early. You must have an "Early Shopper Pass" and only spouses of
      consignors are permitted to  accompny the consignor for this night only.
  
PUBLIC SALE DATES: 
Thursday, 3/29/12           6:30pm-9pm
Friday, 3/30/12               6:30pm-9pm
Saturday, 3/31/12            9am-Noon (all items marked are discounted 50%); 
 
ENTERING YOUR ITEMS:
 
NEW CONSIGNORS - Read the tutorial & follow the step by step instructions to register. 
 
RETURNING CONSIGNORS – LOGIN, and login as usual You will be asked to register for the current sale. This is a simple check box as your information is in our system already.

ALL CONSIGNORS: Please review the Terms of Acceptance & Guidelines
Specifically, we ask that you use safety pins to secure clothing and tags. 
  • All of these requirements help our sale go smoothly, efficiently & will increase the opportunity of your item being sold.  

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
  • Bring a printed a copy of your INVENTORY REPORT to your drop off appointment.
  • You must check in with your report before you bring items into the church. If you do not check in and/or bring your inventory sheet, your items cannot be accepted.
  • No Maternity clothing is being accepted
  • For health reasons, we can no longer accept the following: Worn underwear; used nipples or pacifers.
  • No “Yard Sale items” that are not related to children. These will be rejected.
  • Please do not bring cribs that have the drop down sides.  We cannot sell those due to the safety recall.
  • Please make sure that hangers face the right not left shoulder of the clothing. See example here.
  • Pin all tags on the FRONT of the clothing – this worked great at our last sale, so we will continue to do it this way.  We've asked you in the past to pin them on the inside tags, but pinning them on the outside will help the buyer find your price quicker and easier and make check out scanning faster.  Of course, use your discretion if the fabric could be damaged if pinned on the front.
  • As a reminder, use safety pins when tagging and hanging your items.  If safety pins are not used, we will not be able to accept that item until it is tagged & hung properly.
  • Do not use dark colored paper (does not scan) or regular weight paper (will tear and your tag will be lost)
  • Do not reduce the size of the tag when printing
  • Please do not use old tags - you must re-enter items for each sale.  All inventory is cleared from the system at the end of each sale, so your item cannot be sold if it is not in the system.
  • We accept Cash and Check ONLY.  If you're writing a check, please bring valid ID with you.
